Duties and Responsibilities
•Conduct fit up inspection prior to full welding and ensure that only qualified welders are allowed to perform in accordance with the approved WPS.
•Welding Procedure specification and procedure Qualification Records
•Welder qualification and welder certification.
•Verify & check the Welders Qualification Record.
•Release, accepted materials to construction and follow up to return the rejected materials for further clearances.
•Perform Visual Inspection on completed welds for the occurrence of Porosity, Undercut, and Spatters prior to Non Destructive Testing.
•Welding Inspection of piping, pipeline, equipment’s, steel structure.
•Witness of Heat treatments (Preheating &PWHT).
•Non Destructive Examination (RT/UT/MT/PT)
•Generation /clearance of punch list items. Directly reporting to the QA/QC Manager, for work progress and daily activities. Perform Visual Inspection on completed welds for the occurrence of Porosity, Cracks, Undercut, and Spatters prior to Non Destructive Testing.
Conducting Punch listing work prior to Hydro test / pneumatic test and post Hydro test / pneumatic test.
•Preparation of test packages including weld map & weld traceability.
•Coating (Internal & External) on piping and holiday testing.
•Review of hydro test packages.
•Final inspection of piping systems.
•Pipe line piping and Hydro test. Ensure that all materials delivery is as per project specifications or as approved equal by client.
•Conducting Punch listing work prior to Hydro test / pneumatic test and post Hydro test / pneumatic test.
•Generation /clearance of punch list items. Review of hydro test packages.
•Ensuring implementation of Quality Control Plan, Procedure and Inspection & Test plan.
