● Lead and conduct the installation, maintenance and repair of factory automation robotics and electrical control systems for manufacturing equipment

● Preparation of electrical procedures for installation test and commissioning.

● Drive all activities relating to ensuring existing and new equipment is built and running in accordance to specifications. Including the troubleshooting, debugging, start-up and programming of all automated equipment Operating and maintaining all equipments in manufacturing.

● Support multiple PLC and other electrical controlled automated systems

● Recommend equipment improvements and/or manufacturing methods for improvement and all equipment

● Coordinate all mechanical/electrical system modifications with external vendors, maintenance personnel

● Work closely with production, maintenance and engineering to establish optimized performance of all equipment

● Assist in the negotiation of contracts with equipment vendors as needed

● Implement continuous improvement strategies to reduce scrap cost and improve productivity and quality

● Operate standard and specialized equipment/tools related to the job. Ability to calculate and analyze data, generate reports, present information, etc

● Provides manufacturing with tools and technical engineering support to implement new products and processes into production including evaluating facilities/requirements. Selects, designs, installs, modifies, tests, and debugs equipment and fixtures for new product launches and existing products and coordinates efforts with appropriate areas

● Develops detailed equipment/maintenance plans and specifications using Company manufacturing principles for assigned projects. Participates in comprehensive Process and Design Failure Mode Analysis and troubleshooting of process/equipment. Develops performance and feature specifications to guide design and/or purchasing of equipment

● Demonstrated basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing, machine safety, and other current techniques related to manufacturing engineering

● Ensure troubleshooting programs on equipment and hardware are in place

● Ensure all requirements are met for smooth equipment implementation in production

● Ensure expectations on production yield, quality, utilization and cost reduction are met consistently

● Work closely with other AMD groups and sites to provide effective solutions and support for daily production activities. Demonstrates flexibility/adaptability to frequent changes
