• To direct, coordinate and supervise the engineering activities for the project with various disciplines for a global business unit.

• Perform and manage the work in accordance with relevant engineering department procedures, design guidelines and standards, applicable codes and client Specifications.

• Plan and direct engineering assignments on the project based on the priority and to interpret, organize and execute with responsibility.

• Coordination of Engineering efforts with Project Management, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, Project control and Environment Safety and health.

• To establish the detailed project execution plan and development of overall project engineering schedule

• Review of project engineering progress against approved schedules, evaluation of changes and take corrective action when required.

• Organize/participate technical and progress review meetings with project control management, engineering, client and vendors to establish the catch-up plan.

• Thermal Design using HTRI, Ability to optimize size for Air cooled heat exchanger.

• Knowledge of design of Air Fin Coolers (AFC/ACHE/ACC/Heat Exchanger) used in refineries, Oil & Gas and Power sector e.g. Oil cooler, Compressor cooler, water service etc.

• Knowledge of Air cooled condensers (ACC), electrostatic precipitator (ESP), rotary air preheater and Gas-Gas heaters (RAPH/GGH), Flue gas Desulfurizer (FGD) Selective catalytic reduction (SCR) and super critical Boilers.

• Knowledge of design using ASME and other supporting section of ASME.

• Hands on Experience on Industry software: Compress, HTRI, CAESAR-II, and AutoCAD. Job Profile:-

• Design and preparation of calculation, data sheets, engineering drawings, develop technical specification for Equipment /Packages, Purchase requisition, review of vendor quotes, analysing deviation, Raising of TQs and TBE.

• Review of PFDs, P&IDs, MSDs, GA, Layouts and data sheets.

• Develop design guidelines, Estimation program and standard documentation for use on projects.

• Participation in Inter Discipline reviews, value engineering, design and cost optimization.

• Knowledge of design and selection of various other static and rotating equipment such as Centrifugal Pumps, Reciprocating Pumps, Compressors, Fan, Blowers, Liquid Ring Vacuum Pumps, Belt and Pulley, Gear Box, Motors, Expansion bellows, Valves, Safety devices, Piping etc.

• Knowledge of Electrical and Instrumentation, Load List, Instrument list, I/O list, Instruments data sheets, Motor operated valves, Pneumatic valve and actuators etc.

• Flexibility analysis of ducting and piping system and selection of bellows, Hanger and support systems.

• Developing System description and Control Philosophy
