CAREER OBJECTIVE
Seeking an assignment in the domain of Workers’ Welfare Management with an organization of high repute preferably in Construction, Industrial and Oil & Gas Sectors. GULF EXPERIENCE: 06+ Years
Duties and Responsibilities
Compliance the SC Workers Welfare Standard for Contractor and Sub Contractors through contract and agreement.
Coordinating, receiving and addressing of welfare issues from employees. Conducting Interview with Employees from the Contractor and Sub Contractors.
Self Inspecting welfare requirements of the workers/community accommodation, Construction site, Ethical Recruitments and submitting monthly reporting requirements to the WWD within the time.
Responsible to follow up all WWS rectification plans and the preparation of the necessary progress reports against the rectification plans, up to the successful rectification of all on going non compliances, according to the specified time and cost limit.
Updating & Uploading the Contractors Welfare Documents in Supreme Committee IT Platform
(INTELEX) such as Workers, Accommodation and Contractors Database, New starter Checklist, Wage Register, Medical Records and Workers’ Welfare Forum Minutes of the Meeting.
To coordinate with HR and HSE Departments to define the guidelines of the programs
Developing Project Programs and Organizing Social and Sports Events
Providing Special support to workforce if sign of mental fatigue depression etc.
Coordinating all employee relations & functions relating worker/community issues, especially interaction between the workers, the contractor & the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy receiving & addressing workers issues at the accommodation & project site. Managing Worker’s Welfare Forum (WWF)/ Joint Committee
Act as a representative on the Worker’s Welfare Forum (WWF)/Committee.
Conducting WWF/Committee monthly meetings & submitting MoM report to the WWD
Communication with representatives
Maintain a strong relationship with all representatives
Establish a solid mean for frequent communication (e.g. mailing/Whats App group…)
Provide regular updates on resolved issues and follow up on pending issues
Educate representatives on their role as the voice of their constituencies
Schedule timely monthly meetings, taking into account representatives working hours and keeping attendance
Report on status of raised complaints during the meeting of the prior month
Allow representatives to freely and openly express themselves while reporting issues
Remind representatives that this is an exchange platform not only for themselves but more importantly the workers they represent
Conduct a structured WWF meeting discussing one category at a time. 2
