Technology (Tools): ESRI ArcGIS Server on private cloud, ArcGIS Desktop & Enterprise Geo-database Roles & Responsibilities: GIS Administrator / GIS Expert Project Description: Muscat Electricity Distribution Network System, MEDC, Muscat This was a utility project with reference to Muscat electric department. In order to manage the distribution network, Arc FM was setup over ArcGIS environment. The role-based access based on the license manager by Snider was configured along with enterprise geo-database setup over the private cloud provided by MEDC. I was responsible for setting up the environment along with virtualization over Citrix for supporting the vendors, project stake holders and other team members. Weekly monitoring reports were generated to track the progress of the project and virtualization usage.

The project involved Quality check of topo survey, Preparation of DEM for all the rivers in Cauvery sub-basin, Prepare the Landuse, geology for the project area, to prepare spatial data for Decision Support System (DSS) for project- 1 (6-rivers), Delineation of catchment area, Mapping of historical floods extent, Delineation of flood inundate area using hydrological, terrain model, Final Maps and report preparation.
