Description : Performing Concept Design and development activities for various components in Front and Rear door assembly.

Automotive BIW Project

Responsibilities:

Feasibility study of the input and client requirements.

Concept generation, master sections creation of master section at A post, front door and rear door cantrail section

Design and Development and 3D parametric modeling of the side intrusion beam of door and Window frame of hybrid door with respect to master sections.

Creating proposals for different designs e.g. fixed glass encapsulation, Window regulator fixation.

Checking passing clearance and swing analysis of front and rear door with respect to fender and body side.

Knowledge of: DFMEA, DFM, DFA.

Development of stamping reinforcement and adding strengthening features

Project #3 : C Post Exterior molding, Inner Frame Finishers, Shut face Finisher. Client : Land Rover

CAD Product : CATIA V5 R25, Vis Mockup, Team Center Description : Developing the Close volume from the input surface, adding the engineering features and checking the draft analysis for final body. Automotive Trim Project

Responsibilities:

Feasibility study of the class A surface from input and client requirements.

Design of Inner frame finisher, shut face and C post exterior finisher.

To follow JLR standards and methodology while designing.

Clash & Clearance study with BIW parts using CATIA V5.

Development of Close Volume according to gap & flush requirement with surrounding parts.

Developing the surface into parametric and no external relation with dead surface.

Add a screw bosses & Dog house, Snap, ribs and other plastic features.

Style replacement in case of new style receives and modifies the features as per client requirement.

Propose manufacturing feasibility strategies

Technical discussion with onsite team on counterpart for better design. Project #2 : Automotive Tailgate. TATA H7

Client : TATA MOTORS.

Description : To check the development of tailgate on assembly line of TATA H7, To check weld spot and create a report on the same, Root cause analysis, Carried out different vehicle test.

Responsibilities:

To check the assembly development of tailgate on assembly line of TATA H7

Release CAD data of assembly door in PLM.

To check welds pot on tailgate with different reinforcement and report for the same

Carried out water wading test, EBHS test with and without trim, Shower test etc.

To give sign off feedback of tailgate.

Root cause analysis for tailgate grommet. Experience in creation of Door joinery, structural adhesives, sole sealant etc.
