DATA MINING
• Analyzed 120 years of Olympic history datasets. An interesting insight was observed, the team which won the highest number of medals in the aquatic sports category also won the highest overall medals.
• Analyzed wine datasets that were clustered based on decision tree and K-nearest neighbor algorithms. Interesting facts about physical and chemical characteristics were found about wines which helped cluster the wines as good and bad wines.
• Analyzed shopping cart datasets and used the apriori algorithm to find a relation between items in the cart. Found an interesting insight people who bought milk also bought eggs and people who bought diaper bought beer as well. OPTICAL CHARACTER RECOGNITION
Implemented optical character recognition which used supervised learning. The optical character recognition had an accuracy of 90% in identifying alphabets and numbers. PUBLICATION DETECTION OF ATTACK IN WIRELESS SENSOR NETWORKS Implemented a way to detect Greyhound attack in Wireless Sensor Network. Found a method to prevent the Greyhound attack. Paper was published in a journal named SPC and the ISSN for the paper is 2227-524X. Authors for the paper were R.Harisuriya, Abhishek Agnihotri, S.Jagadeesan, C.Vijayakumaran, and Sibi Amaran.
