Company Details: OILTECH ENGINEERING (INDIA) PRIVATE LIMITED Software Used: Aspen HYSYS V11

Objective:

Design and Optimization Of Conventional Crude Oil Stabilization Facility With Enhanced Oil Recovery. The project aims at the following:

• Perform a concept study (i.e., selection of process flow scheme) for the crude oil stabilization facility using Aspen HYSYS

• To optimize the selected process flow scheme by minimizing the utility requirements and maximizing the Crude Oil recovery (for an enhanced oil recovery- EOR)

• To perform the design calculation for three equipment’s (Horizontal & vertical separators, Shell and Tube Heat exchanger) using Company’s in-house software.

• To perform simulation study for various flowrate cases (Maximum Oil, Maximum Water, etc.)

Diploma Project Details:

The purpose of this project was to extract tartaric acid from tamarind pulp by hot and cold extraction followed by cooling and by addition of chemicals. This project relates to an improved process for the recovery of tartaric acid of commercial value. Each product that was recovered was high in purity, Environment friendly and Economical.
