Project: EPC FOR AL DABB’IYA FACILITIES DEVELOPMENT PHASE III. Position: Quality Inspector (Mechanical Piping)

Scope: Sub Contractor

The project is related to facilities development of AL DABB’IYA PHASE III. Fabrication and installation of Onshore CPP North, CPP South and Cluster piping’s and accessories. Involving materials are CS, LTCS, SS, SDSS, Alloy, Titanium, LTCS Alloy Cladded. It is more than 1Milion inch Diameter with more than 500 Tie- In joints and included structural works, etc…

Project: EPC for Pig Trap System Installation for 6" (C3) & 20" (C2) Export Line from GASCO to BOROUGE Position: Quality Inspector (Mechanical Piping)

Scope: EPC

GASCO supplies raw ethane through a 20” (C2) pipeline and propane through a 6” (C3) to Abu Dhabi Polymers Company Limited (Borouge). The pigging operations for these lines are performed at present using temporary pigging arrangements. Therefore, to enable online monitoring of the pipelines through means of intelligent pigging, COMPANY decided to provide permanent pigging facility for each of the lines (raw ethane and propane).

Project: Fujairah F1 Reverse Osmosis Design, Build, Operate Project Position: Quality Inspector (Mechanical Piping)

Scope: Sub Contractor

Within the existing F1 Plant premises, F1 Project Company intends to construct Sea-Water reverse Osmosis Desalination Plant for producing Drinking Water (RO Project). Project involves the GRP piping which involves various sizes between DN25 to DN2400. RO Plant is situated in the Gulf of Oman coast close to the existing FEWA Plant.

Project: Installation of NGL Pipe Line Pumps and Allied Works at ASAB 0 Position: QC Inspector (Mechanical Piping)

Scope: Sub Contractor

GASCO intends to replace Asab-0 NGL pipeline pumps tag # 24-G-602 A/B due to reliability and design obsolescence concerns on these critical pumps, which are 28 years old. Arabian Construction Co. (ACC) is appointed by Litwin PEL to execute the Construction and pre commission Works which includes the construction of substation, installation of new pumps, piping, E&I works, shut down, tie-ins, demolition and pre commission activities.

Shutdown Experience in GASCO ASAB-0

During 2014 January shutdown works at ASAB-0 coordinated ACC’S shutdown tie-in welding works. Major scope was tie-in on 16”, 14”, 10” NGL lines followed with utility tie-ins. Also coordinated the replacement of 4” lines on the pipe rack. During shutdown works coordinated all tie-in welding works and their inspections by NDT subcontractors as well as GASCO TPI and Inspection team of end-user. Coordinated with Piping Engineers for the timely completion of welding and the inspection of weld joints followed with NDT inspections. Witnessed torque inspections of flanged joints. Shutdown was completed successfully without any leaks.

The objective of the project is to infiltrate and store 27 million cubic meters of desalinated water in natural underground aquifers to form a strategic reserve that can be recovered and used in an emergency condition. The project design, supply, construction and commissioning of 200 water wells, 160km of interconnecting piping and transfer pipeline( 48” and 36” dia.), five pumping stations, MV and LV sub stations, 500 km electrical and instrumentation cables with DCS and SCADA control system.
