QA & Special Process

Establishment of quality policy and objectives and target status monitoring including action plan.

Taking stringent quality measures, including preparation / maintenance of necessary documents to ensure compliance with AS9100 standard and customer requirement.

Perform visual inspections to determine if a weldment meets the acceptance criteria of a specific code, standard or document & develop visual inspection procedures (before, during, and after welding). Analyze repairs & recommending solutions, dis positioning NC items, input to MRB. Assist in Failure mode & effects analysis and produce control plans.

Preparing WPS (Schedules), PQR, WPQR, PIR, operating procedures, work instructions, Inspection procedures based upon customer requirements & maintaining WQT reports, control copies, welding related routers & Equipment qualification related documents, drawings & technical specification documents.

Verify joint geometry and other technical parameter compliance with WPS and drawing. Verify procedure qualification records & welding procedure compliance.

Knowledge in varies NDT testing, quality control tools, 5S.

Knowledge in EBW, GTAW, MIG, and PAW allied processes (brazing, cutting, grinding etc) procedures & standard to correctly guide welding technicians.

Responsible for process planning, shop layout planning, equipment selection& evaluating quality of welding operations and researching problems, formulating solutions also supervise welding technicians to ensure proper process is being followed.

Evaluate current welding techniques and processes and make recommendations for enhancements

& incorporate new techniques as appropriate.

Monitoring the welding process, quality, repairs, rejection, cycle time and in process improvements also rejection, repair analysis & system implementation for Cost Control.

Preparation and qualification of Welding Procedures & maintenance of records. Training and Qualification of welders &Engineers;
