Roles and Responsibilities:
Currently spearheading functions as Electrical Testing Engineer in M/s. Siemens Ltd at M/s. Vedanta Aluminum Ltd – Jharsuguda site from November 2013 to till date.
Responsibilities include coordination with PM Team and bring back the equipments to Normal Condition which was in Critical.
Responsible for to Maintain Tool Box Talk’s, Circulate the daily Reports, Critical reports and Correction Reports after Correction to the user Departments.
Executing various Electrical tests like Dc winding resistance test, Ratio tests on CT’s Tan Delta/ Power Factor & Capacitance Test on Switchyard Equipments Like Transformers, CT’s& PT’s.
Executing various electrical tests like meggering winding resistance test and TAN Delta on HT motors.
Executing various electrical tests like meggering, CRM, Time Interval on different types of HT breakers.
Infrared Thermographs for Electrical Contacts on Electric Furnace Heaters, MCC Panels and Furnace Refractory’s.
Casthouse-3 Responsibilities:
Maintenance of Equipment and machineries of cast house (Smelter) (Like as Billet Casting & Cutting Machine, Holding, Melting & homogenizing Furnace, transfer Cars, transfer Units and Pump house ) and Ensuring the best possible Machine Availability of the same.
To monitor the condition of utilities & services to avoid major breakdowns.
To record the test results / work details / resource consumption in the Maintenance database and follow the SAP permit system.
To direct / guide the maintenance technicians in maintenance - Routine / abnormal / emergency & review local logs.

Electrical testing on HT Motors, Switchyard equipments like Transformers: Insulation Resistance, Winding Resistance, Tan δ, Turns Ratio, Short Circuit Impedance, Vector group, Magnetic Balance, Excitation Current, BDV & Tan δ on transformer oil.
Current Transformer: Insulation Resistance, Winding Resistance, Tan δ, Turns Ratio, Knee point.
Voltage Transformers: Insulation Resistance, Winding Resistance, Tan δ, Turns Ratio.
