Managing overall activities pertaining to operation & maintenance of cpp relating to mechanical department.

Senior Engineer

Responsibilities:-

Providing technical support, quality control, safety measures & direction to staff inline with boiler & auxiliaries for installation through commissioning & release to client.

Effectively serve as primary company engineering representative to client & alliance partners and resolve all issues relating to the technical aspects of the project.

Manage and coordinate effectively the work of engineering sub-contractors including the development of the project schedule, manage on-time receipt of deliverables and coordinate with internal functional departments.

Plan, coordinate, and monitor projects, develop scope of work, confer with departments and sub-contractor.

Prepare reports, correspondence, agreements, graphs and tables and make presentation at meetings as required.

Plan and ensure that assigned projects comply with company procedures.

Recognize, manage and document any technical changes following company cost control procedures.

Periodically brief functional managers on status, problems and other technical activities facing the project. Provide reports to departmental managers as required.

Check the installation as per P&IDs.

Precommissioning activities like Checking of pressure parts for expansion provision, cleaning of drum internals, air & flue gas path leak test, DP test, trial runs of all rotating equipments etc.

Completing the Boiler commissioning activities like slow firing/refractory dry out, alkali boil out, steam blowing & safety valve floating and handing over the boiler to the end user after successful completion of PG test.

Supervision of erection, testing & commissioning of M/S Cethar vessels Make 125 TPH, 86 kg/cm, and 510 c Atmospheric fluidized bed combustion boiler, M/S Siemens make 30 MW single extractions cum condensing type steam turbine with associated auxiliary equipment, Alstom make 4 fields ESP, and Macawber beekay make dense phase ash handling system and other auxiliary equipments.

Worked as Boiler Desk Engineer.

Responsible for Controlling & Monitoring parameters of 125 TPH AFBC boiler through DCS for smooth running of plant.
