To Whom It May Concern,

It is with great pleasure that I submit my application for the Program Coordinator position for Environmental Medicine and Public Health at Mount Sinai. I have had the privilege of working at NewYork-Presbyterian for the past two years as a Clinical Case Manager and Program Coordinator at the Behavioral Health Clinic of Pediatric & Adolescent Outpatient Psychiatry (CHONY) whilst simultaneously taking on the role of Clinic Program Coordinator for the Diagnostic Evaluation Stabilization Center (DESC) grant funded program. My position at CHONY and DESC has allowed me to participate in several areas of interest including crisis stabilization treatment, community outreach, supervision and training, research, and program development as well as participating in several committees and work groups. Upon starting at CHONY, I quickly adapted to the system and learned about the various programs, community partnerships, and resources available for the population that we serve by facilitating and developing these linkages at community events and conferences as part of a multidisciplinary team. At the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the DESC program rolled out early to fulfill a need in the community, which I co-launched and have continued to develop. As we find ourselves in a unique position due to this public health crisis I facilitated services creating more equitable access to care in marginalized and under resourced communities.

I have witnessed firsthand in an outpatient clinic how these systems often perpetuate ongoing disparities with gaining access to services. I am excited about further developing program efficacy whilst promoting both in-system and community outreach. I have developed personal relationships with community-based organizations (CBO’s) and community clinics in the Upper Manhattan area that I can further facilitate to bring to your program. I would like to further hone my skills in approaching this development through a multidisciplinary and multi-organizational lens to develop these partnerships to streamline and foster long-last sustainable change. I have had the privilege of working with many families, organizations, and community programs presenting with a unique set of needs to bridge the gap and mitigate inequitable access to care. In doing so, I appreciate the importance of assessing these needs to facilitate an effective, genuine connection while demonstrating timely and effective work.

I bring a strong background in program development within intensive, acute programs having developed DESC and having a particular interest in fast moving and training environments. The culmination of these experiences have encouraged me to work towards a model of prevention and education. By providing supervision to the DESC program and CHONY I have demonstrated to be able to work collaborative, autonomously, and lead in a program development setting to address the needs and provide deliverables.

Please see the attached curriculum virtae. If you have any questions regards my application, please feel free to contact me at 646-***-**** or *************@*****.***. I am very excited about this opportunity to submit my application with the utmost interest. Thank you for your consideration and taking the time to review my materials.

Sincerely,

Zoe-Elena Rosenbloom
