Producer of the Telluride Comedy Festival 2004 to present

Producer of a small but high profile comedy festival which happens every February at the Sheridan Opera House in Telluride, CO. Duties include finding and booking talent, show promotion, booking travel and lodging for performers, creating the format/show content for each night as well as hosting the festival shows.

Production Assistant/National Geographic June-August 2013

Assisted in all manners of production on two reality show pilots for National Geographic TV. Duties included, shooting video, still photography, gear organization, prep and transportation, driving, food and supply shopping, and in general being available at all times for whatever was needed. These were outdoor shows and involved a lot of backpacking, climbing and camping in remote places.

Producer and Host at Plum TV 2006 to 2012

Producer and on air host of a live morning tv show on a small channel in Colorado. Duties included booking all guests, creating pre-produced segments for the show, building the show rundowns and conducting on air interviews with show guests.

2009 and 2010 Regional Emmy Award winner for pieces on the Sundance Film Festival and the 2008 Democratic Convention.

Manager at the Steaming Bean Coffee Co 1992 to 2011

Running a busy coffee shop in a resort town as well as a coffee booth during the Telluride Bluegrass Festival. Duties included all operations for running the shop, ie staffing/scheduling, ordering, training staff, as well as setting up and running the booth during a festival of 10,000.

Driver for Telluride Film Festival 1998 to 2003

Driving festival patrons and artists to and from airports, to events and screenings, and being on call for any transportation needs during a very high profile event. Vehicles were either new Volkswagen Passats or Land Rovers.

Casting for ‘The Peaks’, reality show pilot 2008

Worked remotely in Telluirde, Colorado doing preliminary casting on a ski town reality show for Fremantle Media. Duties included advertising the casting call, shooting and interviewing subjects, getting b-roll and helping to create the sizzle reel for pilot.

2nd AD for ‘Fixing Rhonda’, a low budget film, LA 2006

Call sheets, managing background actors, subbing for 1st AD on set and in general doing whatever was needed for the production.

Server at Maggiano’s of Little Italy, Los Angeles 2002 to 2004

Server at a large Italian restaurant in Los Angeles where I worked lunch and dinner shifts as well as banquets. The restaurant specialized in large parties and family style dining.

Rental Agent at Center Realty Group, Newton, MA 2001 to 2002

Showing and leasing apartments for a busy real estate office outside of Boston. Duties included qualifying candidates, finding new inventory and keeping good relationships with property owners.

Server and Bartender at the John Street Bar and Grill, NYC 1996 to 1998

Server and bartender at a busy establishment in New York’s Financial District. This was very fast paced with a big lunch rush and busy happy hours Monday through Friday.

Server, bartender and doorman at the Bear Creek Bar, Telluride, CO 1991 to 1992

Working in all front of house positions at a small bar/restaurant/music venue in a ski town. Duties included all aspects of food serving, id checking, taking cover charges for bands, serving drinks, and in general helping out wherever needed in a very busy restaurant/music venue.
