Served as Authorized Press for the ninth annual Governors Bal Music Festival on Randal’s Island Park. Recorded interviews and captured photos of headlining acts including Brockhampton, Florence + the Machine and Tyler, the Creator. Highlighted on the Governors Bal Instagram Page. Created and led successful marketing campaigns for the newspaper’s funding referendum. Responsibilities included recruitment of prospective students to join the referendum team, reporting consumer feedback to improve sales and boost consumer engagement, and increasing brand awareness to the student body. Established an interview series that engages with students and faculty throughout the Rutgers Community.
Produced original video series exploring the diverse extracurricular scene of Rutgers University. Captured and edited videos of live musical performances, interviews, protests and talk shows. Bolstered the station’s online presence and helped establish a social media platform garnering 40,000+ views. Planned concerts and events for the entirety of the University, and marketed using community engagement through social media and other means. Effectively delegated tasks by teaching others how to operate cameras and camcorders and how to create marketing assets using the Adobe CS. Coordinated and booked talent for radio and web series.
