Ziply Fiber, WA/OR/ID/MT Sourcing Consultant/Full Lifecycle Recruiter June 2020 to October 2020

● Sourcing & recruiting support during the transition period from Frontier Communications to an independant Ziply Fiber.

● High-volume environment, 20-30 roles at a time, first hire in first 14 days in industry I had never worked in, made goal of 10 hires a month from July-September. Managed hiring manager expectations and performed intake calls with a distributed team of managers as well as recruiters.

● Hired at Director level but also built out teams of dispatch associates and field technicians as well. Hired Business Development Managers, Commercial Sales Executives, Network Engineers, Construction Management, and other telecommunications specific roles as well. Hires were both in urban centers as well as rural areas, all hires had to be US citizens or persons and were made with no relocation support.

● Ziply was able to hire all roles they needed to hire to make their transition service agreement before the scheduled October cutoff.

Amazon Scout Seattle, WA Technical Recruiter July 2019 to April 2020

● Sourcer and recruiter for Embedded Software, Systems Software, and Data Platform Software Engineering roles

● Supported 10-15 reqs at a time for multiple hiring managers providing reports throughout the funnel 100% direct hire.

● Managed Hiring Manager expectations, provided strategic sourcing roadmaps, tracked candidates in Microsoft Excel, and delivered pipeline updates.

● First offer within 90 days

● 100% “Recruiter How’s My Driving” score, signifying a uncommonly high level of candidate experience

● Led B-Market sourcing push to expand sourcing to multiple areas with higher than normal success rates, generated multiple hires for Scout as well as greater Amazon due to this

SpaceX Redmond, WA Technical Recruiter February 2018 to August 2018

● Recruiter for Design and Verification, MAC Protocol Software, RF Engineering, Electromagnetic ASIC Effects Engineering teams. Roles were 100% direct hire, and an even mix of early, mid, and late career roles. Project followed ITAR regulations.

● Carried up to 20 reqs at a time, averaging roughly 15.

● Rapidly onboarded, as my first offer (which was for a Principal Engineer) was within the first 45 days, in a field I had never recruited in before, showing my ability to pick up new disciplines quickly.

● Led pre-interview prep sessions, determined screening questions, crafted hiring plans/sourcing strategy, tracked candidates in Microsoft Excel and mediated post-interview debriefs for both onsite and offsite teams.

● Went above and beyond by completing a company-wide collegiate census, assisting the University Recruiting team in trip planning and provided actionable data to assist in University Recruiting, organizing diversity hiring data, and also represented SpaceX at hiring events.

● Sourcer for Microsoft Gaming (343 Studios, The Coalition, Turn10) Software Engineering and 3D Art reqs for Aquent. Owned sourcing strategy for these roles.

● Primarily sourcing and recruiting also recruiting 3D artists, gameplay scripters, technical artists, character artists, level-designers, QA testing, visual data specialists and software engineers (full stack and front-end).
