My real passion is writing. I have always had a life-long love affair with the English language and the Literary Arts. I'm a very experienced writer who has had a ton of valuable experience in writing as a Professional Freelancer doing B2B and B2C Content Marketing, Creative Writing, unique Content Creation, Ghost Writing, Copywriting, Short Stories, Poetry, Blogging, Professional Reviews (I am a brand Influencer currently as well), Business Writing, Articles, Resumes, and much more. I have even worked with an Artist recently who created a decorative picture frame just for her clients as a special gift for Valentine's Day and it featured one of my newest works of poetry in a creative, fun, and decorative way.
A position as a Writer being able to help produce unique, well-researched, and thought-out content would be a dream job for me. I am also a whiz at Social Media Marketing and Networking, and I have Retail and Sales experience in Management level positions. Positions in the Mental Heath Industry, in Human Services, Healthcare, Hospitality, and Clerical Administrative jobs also hold a deep interest to me.
My ultimate objective is to find a place of employment where I can be happy as well as being able to express myself through my works, and it would be even better if they are based on my interests, because, like any Writer, I am best at writing from my own experience. I can be very logical as well and enjoy facts and research of which I can articulate very well. I am a fast learner and a diligent worker who gets excited about a job well-done. I hope to find work where these qualities are rewarded so that we can mutually benefit from my time with you. I do single assignments, whole projects, and both long- and short-term work, but I am hoping to find something permanent that I enjoy doing. WORK EXPERIENCE

7-ELEVEN - Reno, NV
June 2020 to November 2020
I was responsible for everything in the store as well as all the customers who come in during my shifts. I ran and operated the POS (Point of Sale) Purchase System Computers, as well as the Gaming Machine. I also maintained controls and counts during each beginning and end of my shifts. I was responsible for ensuring that everything coincides with and
matches up to the last shift's counts. In controls, we count up what's in our cash drawer, the cash box of change, the gaming machine, the cartons of cigarettes, and the stamps that we sell. I also stocked all of the cups, straws, lids, and accessories, ran the coffee island bar, and did grill maintenance and cooking of hot foods, as well as for the cleaning and wiping down of the machines. I also meticulously cleaned the grill each night. I was responsible for the cleanliness of the store, dealing with every customer right away as soon as they are ready, and I checked in CDC groceries each night, scanned them with a bar-code scanner, then stocked everything, and put it all away. The store's presentation was a priority, and we did a lot of front-facing and up-selling here. I dealt with all customers, greeting each one warmly and with enthusiasm as they come in, and I was responsible for all their food and customer service needs. I printed out money orders for customers, made change all day, and processed payments. I did the cash handling and dealing with the safes as well. This job required a great deal of multi-tasking and good, proper time management skills; both of which I have. I often ran the entire store by myself.
Reason for Leaving: The shifts and locations I was hired for kept being switched around until my work and life balance was being too greatly effected, so I've had to give notice and am seeking further employment elsewhere. Also, the employer offered no benefits, and I'm in need of them when I'm working full-time.

Reason for Leaving: I could no longer work in such a disruptive and drama-filled environment and chose to give my notice and resign from the position due to the unhealthy co-workers there who only wanted to gossip and create trouble. I need a professional environment to work and function in, and this was not it.

I was the Shift Leader and Manager at Hollywood Video and oversaw not just myself as an independent worker and team member but was also in charge of other team members and customer service representatives. I was responsible for the morning bank deposit and for my cashier's drawer and the drawers of the other employees at all times. I counted down the drawers at night and figured out the deposit amount earned for that day. I was responsible for the running of the store in absence of the actual main store manager. I led and motivated the other employees and I did Project and Time Management concerning them. I was responsible for de-escalating any situations and for the customer satisfaction of our patrons. I oversaw the daily and nightly operations of the store and well-versed in all matters involving the opening and closing of the store. I was also in charge of the cleanliness and regular operations of the store including putting the videos back on the shelf and was also in charge of leading the team and providing them with appropriate motivation to do their job
well. I was nearly the head of management for any problems that arose, and I oversaw maintaining the security of the computer system and the confidentiality of our customers listed therein.

I was a very trusted Customer Service Representative and Satisfaction Team Member who was often left unattended to run the store independently, by myself. I was responsible for going to get the shoes that the customers wanted as well as memorizing their sizes and the desired colors, brands, and styles. My main responsibility was taking care of our customer's wants and needs and to their exact specifications whenever possible. I was a Customer Service Representative who was hired in advance of Easy Spirit's deciding to close its doors and go out of business inside of the Meadowood Mall in Reno, NV. I was responsible for sales, customer service and satisfaction, and also for keeping our inventory well-stocked as we had "Going out of business" sales to reduce our products to prepare for the store's closing date in August of 2002. I assisted the manager and my fellow employees with shipping and sending back inventory that Easy
Spirit did not want sold for sale prices. Pets are people, too, just like me and you.
They need food in their tummies and lots of beefy yummies.
They are little, but their hearts are BIG.
They like to go outside, get fresh air, and dig.
From big to small, they give their all,
And you can play with them with a toy or with a ball.
To the special bond between human and pet,
always by your side, forever, I'll bet.
Your faithful pet depends on you
and all the special things for them that you do.
Pets help teach us nature's true compassion.
They do not withhold love, nor with it do they ration.
And with our pets, I have no doubt,
that we are lucky not to have to live without.
A furry friend that's always happy to see you,
from life's ups and downs and all that people do.
It's quite a sight for sore eyes to behold,
because that bond is as special as gold.
Always show them love and good measure,
and reap each day a true friend to treasure.
Children, remember to be good to your pet
Be loving to them, no matter how old they get.
Never abandon them or leave them out in the cold or heat,
and you'll have a pet that's super neat!
Always treat them with kindness and love,
for they are truly a gift from above!
Be understanding and patient with them, because they will be for you.
And never, ever forget this, my friend, for pets, are people, too.
