Upkey is a Chicago e-learning based organization that is providing a Global Leadership and Entrepreneurship program for those students whose summer internships were rescinded(Highgate) due to COVID-19.
•Participated in group collaborations in various business strategy projects to build towards our capstone,
•Worked in excel to develop solutions for case studies, using experience gained from real estate classes.
•Focused the final 2 weeks on our capstone project in which we implemented ideas to benefit Upkeys’ market growth and future internship programs.
Courtyard & Towneplace Suites by Marriot Novi -- Hotel Operations Intern (May 2019 – Aug 2019):
•Gained valuable experience shadowing my Hotel Operations Manager, Chief Engineer, GCPM and front office department, while also working as bistro cook and houseman.
•Assisted the OM in purchasing hotel necessities based on my feedback from the various departments.
•Completed tasks by utilizing and learning systems, tools, equipment and software that applied.
