Dear Hiring Manager,

Thank you for the opportunity to apply for the case manager position at Northern Nevada Hopes. I have an educational background of Social Work and graduated in May of 2020 with my Bachelors of Social Work from the University of Nevada, Reno. Since graduating I have obtained my licence to practice in the state of Nevada. During my time at UNR I interned with Awaken, a local non profit working with victims of sexual exploitation, and for a period of time was a case manager with them as well. While there I engaged with a variety of different populations and worked through obstacles to help give the clients the care that they needed and deserved. Throughout my life I have worked with both youth and adult populations that include non profits in Las Vegas, and with fellow peers and staff at the University of Nevada, Reno.

As someone who has worked with a large variety of populations throughout my lifetime, I know how important it is to give empathetic and personalized care to each individual. Northern Nevada HOPES wants to optimize the wellness of the people that they serve, and with my past experience and knowledge of the field I could bring that level of care to the clients.
