Professional Experience

Skilled professional with over 28 years’ experience as a Safety representative. In the Construction and General Industries, I have extensive experience as a field safety inspector & medical case management in numerous petro-chemical facilities, where plant safety, planning and customer relations were key elements of my job. Attended many hours of company sponsored training programs to improve my technical competence and maintain all personal certifications and continue to pursue continuing education opportunities.

Selected Safety responsibilities in brief

Performed safety orientations and training for employees and performed necessary testing such as PFT and fit testing for respiratory protection use. Instructor in use of safety and personal protective equipment. Conducted safety meetings and monitored operations of employees

Performed first aid and occasional emergency response when warranted. Conducted case management associated with near miss/incident reporting, investigation and documentation.

Performed area monitoring for chemical and physical hazard control including air sampling, sound level monitoring to develop an industrial hygiene plan for various work locations.

Trouble shooter for work locations with a poor safety performance. Was assigned to identify and implement measures to halt future events and organize a safety execution plan to maintain recovery.
