(NHT/CCR/Platformer/Recovery Plus/CSP/PSA/Isomar/Xylene Fractionation/PAREX)

Looking after DCS Panel operations for Area 1 and Area 3 ; Shift Production & supervises, control and co-ordinates the operation of production facilities like Continuous Catalyst Regeneration (CCR), PSA for H2 Production, Platformer, Naphtha Hydrotreater recovery plus, Isomar,Xylene Fractionation, Parex Chambers (All unit are based on UOP licensor).

Job profile:

Supervise the production facilities and equipment for maintenance & handovers it safely to allow for maintenance program to be conducted. Ensures that equipment preparation and start up procedures are strictly observed. Monitors the running of such equipment and reports anomalies if detected.

Supervises safe plant startup / shutdown and handle Emergencies, troubleshooting of the plant.

Initiate, Installs and removes temporary Interlock bypasses to support the business need. Ensures inspection and corrosion protection programs are implemented.

To attends tailgate meetings with shift teams for track and update on production & safety issue.

Issue hot/cold and confined space entry work permits for all routine/planned maintenance work to be carries out in accordance with EQUATE working procedures and safety policy.

Preparation of Startup /Shutdown procedures of new equipment, Special job schemes & Preparation of Emergency Rescue procedure, Shutdown planning, P&ID reviews. Participates in the analysis, design and planning for plant modifications or new facilities/ equipment.

Development of Safety procedure and HAZOP’s & system for handling of hazards and explosive chemical, hazards identification, Safety training, inspection, safety audit, organizing safety meeting, statutory regulatory authorities. Liaisons with Govt. agencies like factory inspectors. Fulfills all the statutory compliances applicable to organization. Carrying out job specific Risk assessment & LOPA.

To prepare daily production report to monitor plant and highlights abnormalities and suggests corrective actions. Evaluate operational concerns and propose corrective actions. Recommends/review new installations or modifications to improve existing facilities.
