I have become the Deputy Commander of the St. Louis County Rangers during which time I started a Ranger Academy with a new direction that was in compliance with the directives from St. Louis County Police Department. I was the instructor of numerous training for the entire parks department including, Armed Intruder Drills and Emergency Response Teams.

Executive Overview:
Since my arrival on campus, I have written a Police Operating Manual, Standard Operating Procedures, Emergency Management Plan and began the first Bicycle Patrol on the campus. My energy towards these types of endeavors allows me to show by example my dedication to making the St. Louis Community College Police department a wonderful place to work and an innovative enterprise. I have been employed as an Adjunct Faculty Member for over 4 years to teach various Criminal Justice and Business classes in the University of Phoenix system. During the last four years, I have instructed and developed a curriculum for Criminal Justice Classes and Business Classes, including two interdisciplinary courses that are requirements for graduation are Cornerstone and Capstone. Cornerstone is taken at the beginning of a student’s coursework and Capstone is taken toward the end.

The St. Louis Metropolitan Chief of Police tasked me with the duties to assist multiple units that were in desperate need to be reorganized and to complete a full audit. During this time the department was in desperate need for a helicopter which was located from the State of Missouri: Department of Public Safety.
• Commander Comport (Communications) 1993-1995
Commander of the Communications Support Division that monitors, repairs radio communications for the St. Louis Police Department. The Comport Division supports the telecommunications for the St. Louis Police Department. Duties and responsible for the training, recreation, vacation schedule for twelve civilian employees. Responsible to track and guide the implementation of a grant for Computer access in all patrol vehicles.
• Commander Asset Forfeiture Unit 1992-1993
Supervision of a unit that tracked Drug dealers, handles forfeitures’ currency, and prepared document for both State and Federal forfeiture and transfer.
• Homicide Unit 1989-1992
Supervision and scheduling of 10 police officers in the Homicide Unit, with an emphasis on scene supervision, report writing, court preparation and liaison with Circuit Attorney’s office.
• Narcotics Unit 1987-1989
Supervision and scheduling of 30 officers in the Vice/Narcotics Unit, with the emphasis on scheduling, training, court preparation and liaison with all the Federal law enforcement Agencies and U.S. Attorney’s Office. A member of the State Wide Torch Run Council since 1991 and director for four years, with the responsibility to re-organize and rejuvenate the involvement of law enforcement. While a member, the organization has gone from a $43,000 to a Million dollar program in part because of the energy and vision of the Torch Run Council.

1999-Current LAW ENFORCEMENT TORCH RUN FOR SPECIAL OLYMPICS (FINAL LEG COMMITTEE)
Since 1999, I have been a member of the Law Enforcement Torch Run Final Leg Committee which has coordinated and executed the planning to bring the Flame of Hope from Greece to game sites around the world, including North Carolina, Alaska, Ireland, Japan, Iowa, China and Idaho.

Elected in 2008 to be the President of the largest High school referee’s association in the State of Missouri. The St. Louis High school referees assocation does more than 5000 games in the boys/girls soccer games in the St. Louis area.
