PROJECTS: Butanol Production for Use as Biofuel – Designed and synthesized a fermentation plant that optimizes the production of butanol for use as a biofuel. Project parameters include a cost and budget estimation, process flowsheet, utility consumption analysis, safety review, and environmental impact study in accordance with industry standards. This project was conducted with the support from colleagues and staff associated with the NJIT Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering.
