WORK EXPERIENCE:
Multimoda Import Inc – April 2013 – Currently Working
Position: Logistic and Purchases Coordinator
Responsibilities: Import / export. The process starts with the communication with the factories in Asia, Europe, and United States, to check if they have cargo ready to ship; quote sea and air freight rates, and also try to find the better departure that allow me to accomplish the customer date in destination.
For Panama Import, I also coordinate shipment from Origin to the warehouse in Panama. Once I receive arrival notification by the agent, I have to make the entry of the goods in the DMC (Commercial Movement Declaration), and I coordinate with the warehouse and carrier the removal of the container in the port.

Responsibilities: Continuous contact with the factory to follow up the shipments and documents, until they have reached the customer's destination, also I was in charge of the revision and approval of documents and invoicing of purchase & sale orders.

Responsibilities: Tracking merchandise from origin to destination (Panama). And when the cargo already arrives, I was in charge of verify if the shipping carriers were charging the correct freight rates.
Additional I followed up the arrival of the merchandise to the warehouse and then I had to coordinate with the warehouse team, the discharge of the containers, according to the urgency of the delivery.
