• Exceeded client's dimensional requirements for portable heart-lung bypass machine device by integrating a handle into its exterior skeleton.
• Developed portable heated waterfall bath accessory for an Iowa start-up, bringing a spa atmosphere to any bathtub.
BLACK DOG ROBOTICS, Mound, MN 2016 - 2017
Lead Designer
Redesigned robot by adding styling and ergonomic standards to the entire robot. Designed a joystick to be used within a pelican case or worn over the user’s shoulders with a padded strap.
• Led design efficiency initiative by selecting new materials and removing excess material / weight throughout the robot which improved battery longevity.
• Designed modular components suitable for military, S.W.A.T., and mining applications, supporting base platform robot that others could make tops for.
• Developed a strong, consistent brand language and styling rules throughout Black Dog product family, allowing products and accessories to be recognizable across the robotics industry.

Designed motorcycle accessories for Harley Davidson, Indian, Victory, and Honda Motorcycles. Worked within ABS, sheet metal, and die cast manufacturing techniques.
• Executed product designs from concept sketching through 3D scanning / surface modeling to tech packs within a fast-paced environment.
• Teamed up with internal customer representatives, gaining insight directly from customers which helped the team design products that would have instant success on the market.
