Shailaja. o Arsenic is a highly carcinogenic Ingestion only poses health problems if a dangerous amount of arsenic enters the body. Then, it can lead to cancer, liver disease, coma, and death. o Removal of arsenic by adsorption method using UV-spectrophotometer.

● The adsorbents like brick poder,iron dust,multani mitti,chalk powder,lemon peel powder, double bean seed powder,methi, neem bark powder, are screened for the removal of arsenic.

MSc PROJECT

o Topic: “Degradation of Butyronitrile by Rhodococcus sp.MTB5”under the guidance of Dr. Anand S. Nayak Assistant professor, Dept. of Biochemistry Gulbarga University, Kalburgi. (March2015-May 2015)
