OBJECTIVE

To secure a challenging safety personnel position where I can effectively contribute to an organization success for maintain Zero LTI and Increase Safe Man hours through the use of my knowledge, Experience & Teamwork.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Implementing the Health Safety Environment Management System through HSE Plans, Policy, Risk Assessments, JSA and Method of Statements.

Assist to Preparation of HSE Plans, Risk Assessments, JSA and Method of Statements.

Facilitate screening of workmen and conduct Safety induction.

Carry out Safety inspection of work area, work method.

Issue & release work permit after site verification.

Identify & rectification of unsafe act/ condition, waste management etc.

Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy.

Preparation of Daily, Weekly, Monthly and HSE reports.

Monitoring hot works such as Electrical welding, gas cutting, grinding.

Maintain all Safety related documents& Training records.

Guide to user for selection and finalize specific PPE.

Close co-ordination with client, Supplier and civil sub-contractor in all aspects.

Verifying to confirm that all lifting equipment operators are trained, competent and certified.

Maintaining records of all inspections conducted to follow up and identify corrective actions for auditing as required by company standards.

Managing all Commercial and Technical Document, Increase and apply the awareness on health and safety levels within the organization.

Periodic inspection of Spill control Kit, Emergency lights, Emergency Exits, Fire bucket, Fire hydrant and Fire extinguishers, safety shower etc.

Conduct Safety committee meetings & prepare minutes of the meetings as well as the action plan for proceedings & follow up.

B.E. with specialization in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with 6.5 GPA from Anna University in 2012.
