Responsible for preparation of drawings of concept Design and Shop drawings in SOLIDWORKS.
Experience in creating detailed engineering/product drawings for manufactured mechanical components, including bill of materials generation. Liaising with around 300 Clients on new projects and updating on live projects. Managing a team size of 4 Designers.
Strong Knowledge on Drafting, Assembly drawing, Fixture Design, Stage Model Preparation, as Documentation etc
Engage in design, study, and optimization of mechanical product structuring, creation of products, and improvement of product performance and quality.
Experience in drafting, solid modelling, design detailing in 2D-3D modelling with SOLIDWORK. Good Knowledge and hands-on experience of drawing presentation, critical dimensioning, view presentations and parts list preparation.
Participate in design and drawing reviews, prototype builds and verification testing and documentation.
Good knowledge and hands-on experience on advance assemblies and layouts with GD&T, surface finishes, welding details and engineering notes.
Good knowledge of material selection, bought out parts selection, hardware/fasteners selection. Good knowledge of reverse engineering.
Release corrected drawings via Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) process. Solve complex and high impact design and development problems including customer application issue of varying scope and complexity.
Determine the design by SolidWorks CAD modelling components to form an assembly, followed by developing detailed parts for fabrication.
Interface with Clients within the Engineering department, Product Management and manufacturing Support In giving product demonstration for new clients and Training Support for Existing Clients about SOLIDWORKS.
To provide Technical Support over the phone or by remote support to the clients about SOLIDWORKS.
Determine the design by SolidWorks CAD modelling components to form an assembly, followed by developing detailed parts for fabrication
Create new and/or revises existing designs and drawings of products Knowledge of and experience in applying industry standards in the design of mechanical products. Engage at least two product designs in a week, orders from clients. Projects Handled
