Responsibilities:

•Responsible for implementation of ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 systems.

•Carryout the periodical safety inspection & recommend suitable measure to management for improvement.

•To check & preparation of Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA).

•Ensure compliance obligation & adherence to HSE policy by supplier end.

•Performs risk assessment to identify significant risks and develop effective methods for risk control & management.

•Identification of unsafe act & unsafe condition in shop floor.

•Providing HSE orients programs, Material handling, Work at height, Hazardous waste handling & machine guarding.

•Emphasizing safe working practice throughout the factory using Personal Protective Equipment &Work Permit System.

•Monitoring, checking and updating TVS vehicle, TVS operators Eye test, Vehicle load test, Emission, Driving license.

•Support Medical Dept. for periodical Health Check-up for the operators working in Hazardous process.

•Design, implement and update the onsite & offsite emergency plan.

•Planning, implementation & maintenance of necessary firefighting facility. Also, ensure of all the firefighting facility available at all time.

•Workplace assessment Plan to measure the exposure of employees to dusts, fumes, lighting, noise.

•Coordinating and updating Testing certificate of Lifting tackles, Lifting equipment, & pressure vessels (form 8), Building Stability Certificates and Fire license.

•Conducting emergency mock drill, internal audit once in six months.

•Coordinating with Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board while collecting of STP & ETP water samples in monthly basis.

Project Handled:

Provided FM 200 Flooding system for Server Room for fire protection.

Provided LPG detector & Fire Alarm system for canteen for fire protection.

Provided Foam sprinkler systems & mobile foam trolley for Paint booth for fire protection.

Erecting & commissioning of STP (50KLD) & ETP (10KLD) plants.

Recycling of water from effluent treatment plant for reduce water consumption.

Provided anti abrasive sleeve for lifting belt to reduce near miss & Incident.

Significant Achievements:

•Achieved maximum Accident free 248 days in 2018 & 185 days in 2019.

•No contaminated water has discharged without processing by Five STP, Four ETP plants.

•Received Double time award for maximum accident free days in safety day celebration.

•Introduced check-lists in various equipment’s and lifting tackles in assembly stations, thereby reduced the Near miss incident.

•Implemented the Operational Control Procedure (OCP) for the new assembly station.

•Introduced the usage of New PPE in assembly station.
