I've been able to succeed by putting my mind on it. I set a goal and attack. I thrive to learn each and every other day. Better myself with the people around me but most importantly criticizing myself on how I can do better. At the age of only 22 I've outdone other Co workers who had multiple years in the same industry. Dedication I will give and work ethic is similar to those who have a decade doing the same job. Warehouse Manager Elite Roofing Supply - North Kansas City, MO 11/2019 - Current When I was given the opportunity to join Elite roofing it was a new upcoming company. we dealt with residential and commercial roofing. I was thrown into scenarios I wasn't comfortable with. Although at first it was difficult keeping the same group of guys due to excessive work and organization. I was able to keep the warehouse going. We sent out in average of 20-30 loads in our busy days and 12-18 on average. We received 4-8 freight trucks a day for at least three of the five days a week. Space was very limited therefore creativity was needed. Working in the roofing industries involves last minute changes and add ons. which expanded my work ethic and my mindset of working until the job is completed. Not only was I given guys with no experience I had to teach and keep the warehouse rolling. At times I was alone or with one other guy. The goal was to maintain at least four. I was also involved with customers who would frequently ask questions about the material. Customer service is my strongest attribute; Connecting, teaching and expanded my knowledge with my customer in my opinion is a priority. Warehouse/Helper Clerk SPEC Roofing - Kansas City, KS 07/2018 - 11/2019 I was brought on as a warehouse employee and helper. In the warehouse I dealt with building loads which involve; shingle, ridge, starter, felt etc. which had to be done in a timely matter. After the ticket was done I would load the truck. Customers were also a part of the job. The more I progressed I slowly transition to translating for non-English speakers (Spanish). it further extended my knowledge not only with the material but with my customer service. As a helper I would distribute Loads around the city. which involved picking up 50-100 pounds constantly. While delivering it also involved knocking on doors and communicating with customers.
