DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

Establishing primary horizontal and vertical control points including reference ties for re-establishing the points in the field.

Field surveying to obtain data for base plans.

Recording all measurements, rod reading and calculations neatly and accurately in field books as the work progress.

Performing joint measurements of the completed work or payment.

Make sure all the reference points at site given by Dubai Municipality, or Consultant surveyor and noted properly and reconfirm by letter

Any discrepancy in drawing or survey points to be highlighted immediately

Survey file to be maintained and records to be maintained

All survey work to be planned with installation engineer and to be done on priority at site

Daily update the survey points given on the elevation drawing so that installation engineer is clear with marking and he can further plan

Plotting of Cross-Sections & earthwork volume calculations.

Calculating the Horizontal Vertical data of the Roads setting out

Checking the side slopes & vertical profile to match the grade levels.

Making the measurement for record and payment.
