Job Description

Procurement Officer

Working very closely with Purchasing Officers, helps to ensure the right products are selected to procure.

Responsibilities:

Place purchase orders in BEAMS/SAP Project Management Software.

Serve as a key representative of the E-Commerce team including direct interaction with retailers and distributors

Onboarding new Private Labels and update existing accounts in our system

Research potential vendors

Negotiate contracts, improved prices, and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilizing negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods

Assess tenders and quotations from potential suppliers

Prepare purchase orders in line with final negotiations with selected suppliers and in line with organizational targets and requirements

Develop ideas and strategies to improve operational efficiency, add value, aid business performance and work towards a strategy of continuous improvement

Timely collection of supplier Invoices

Documentation for deliveries from supplier

Managing supplier delivery issues

Coordinate with Storekeeper for pending deliveries

Generating Reports as per instructions
