• Using the concepts of social support, positive psychology, and informed awareness as pillars of prevention, I helped create “Caregivers Connect,” the first interdisciplinary event among the health science professions of Clarkson University in Potsdam, New York. The aim was to fulfill an imminent need in our small rural community for information, social support, and stress relief among caregivers and those they care for.
