74500 DWT Bulk Carrier Panamax, OSV,Jack up Barge,NOPV. Roles and Responsibilities:

• Pre-erection and Erection Schedule, outfitting schedule,Pre-Erection and Erection Activities.

• Manpower planning, contractors controlling, achieving schedules.

• Survey related activities, safety inspection of site area, Productivity, cost and quality control

• Coordination between Block making and Dry-dock (blocks, materials).

• Ship-Wright planning & Block alignment, engineering network flow creation for Hull production.

• Problem solving, repair of hull and outfitting.

• Hull inspection by NDT, APT, Vacuum Test & Hose Test, Structural Test.

• Dry-Dock planning, dock marking, Inspection of ship launching.

• Dimensional accuracy control for Panamax and OSV, Jack up Barge (Block Fabrication

& Erection site).

• Material Tracking In Equipment Tracker Monitor.

• Basic and production drawings control for Hull and Outfitting.

• Supervised overall ship production activities in the yard.

• Trained in all shipyard activities.

• Pre-Erection, Erection stage of PANAMAX, OSV, DECK CARGO BARGE, JACK UP BARGE.

• Jack up Barge (Leg Joined Together at dock, Erection Sequence, Check Sheet Prepared).

• Principal Dimension as well as Keel sighting carried out with class and owner

• Responsible for the quality and execution of the work done by the shipyard taking into consideration the specifications.

• Documentation and drawings/ production schedule control.

• Inspect and supervise all works of hull construction, outfitting, etc. right from beginning of fabrication until completion of the vessel

• Participated in review of design related meetings and explained in detail to site

• Coordinate and supervise progress with Owner`s Builder`s and design activity.

• Member of committee that maintained company operating manuals

• Supervised production of 26 knots naval hull designs

• Execute the job while taking into consideration the safety rules of the shipyard. SPECIAL PROJECT

• Floating joining of two half ships planning, preparation & execution of Panamax bulk carrier (5500(94 m) & 8000(131 m) T Blocks-(India’s First time).

• Block alignment matching device design.

• Templates design for checking male parts of matching device, which is fixed underwater.

• Matching of master butt data of 2 half ships and correction.

• Design and installation of level checking targets.

• Design of stopper material arrangement.

• Levelling of dock blocks (200 Nos) for 131 m block.

• Levelled floating block without trim as per joining requirement.

• Design of setting pieces location for hydraulic puller, chain pulleys.

• Checked centreline, level of 131 m block during and after alignment. NOPV – NS001 (Indian Navy)

• Pre-Erection and Erection Activities of NS001 - Joining of Grand Assembly in Pre-Erection as well as Joining of Mega Block Assembly in Erection.

• Pre-Erection and Monthly Schedule Preparation.

• Fit-up Inspection and Dry survey Inspection carried out.

• A Bracket Fitment and Welding inspection carried out.

• Stern Drop Inspection Carried out with WOT and Class as per build strategy.

• Inspection Carried out (Structural Test, Hose Test, APT).

• Gyro Room Master Datum Fitment and Ship Building Datum fitment done, Established Centre line Main Deck to Gyro room and transferred up to main Mast

• Outer Hull Dry survey prior to launch, Draft Mark Survey and Bow marking and outer hull marking survey done

• Deck Breakage Inspection has been done before launching and after launching.

• Stern tube Installation Carried out with WOT and Class

• Principal Dimension as well as Keel Sighting Survey carried out with class and WOT.

• On site Plan approval and review of production drawings.

• SRGM Gun foundation Level fitment done based on Master Datum Plate as well as Dry Survey completion.

• AK 630 Gun foundation fitment done as well as foundation machining done by the use of Inclineo Meter based on Master Datum Plate as well as dry survey completion.

• Shaft Centreline Establishment after completion of block joining as well as ME foundation.

• Coordinating yard for various inspection and assigning team members as per requirement.

• Progress review & maintaining a database on the weekly and monthly reporting including Supervision reports, Shipbuilding Schedule, Defects/ Non-conformance reports.

CERTIFICATION, SOFTWARE & KNOWLEDGE

• Successfully completed NDT Level II and experienced on Magnetic particle Testing, Dye Penetrate Testing, Radiographic Testing and Ultrasonic Testing., Auto Cad.

• Experienced and practiced on MS Office, AUTOCAD, SOLID WORKS Delftship, Freeship, AUTOSHIP (4 Modules), Rule finder.

• Knowledge about classification society rules (IRS, DNV, ABS and LR).

• IACS Ship Building and repair standards
