ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Operations/Manufacturing Management

Manufacturing/distribution in charge of team effort in running the most profitable plant out of 14 for the last 12 years. Also met or exceeded budget each of the last 12 years with over 60 million dollars in profits generated during this time period (1998-2009).

Plant had one of the best “Lost Time Accident” records in the company. No “Lost Time Accidents” for three years. (2006-2008)

Last 12 years oversaw planning and execution of the annual 6 million dollar physical inventory at the California facility resulting in an annual inventory pick up.

Customer Service/Inside Sales

Responsible for training customer service and office personnel. Last 12 years oversaw customer service, technical services, and accounting with a total of 25 to 35 direct reports. Excellent employee retention rate with an average of 15 years’ service per employee.

Facilities Management/Training

In charge of training union and non-union warehouse and production employees throughout several facilities in the Southeast, Mountain and Southwest regions, on operational procedures and computer system. Working knowledge of JD Edwards and Legacy software systems along with basic understanding of SAP WMS.

Also was in charge of trouble shooting Toshiba Phone System and AS400 Computer System for the California operation.

Involved in negotiating freight rates throughout Southwestern Market and Canada, resulting in extensive savings for the California location and company.
