Field Specialist / Data Engineer (October 2014 to June 2020), Baker Hughes Qatar. Key Role and Responsibilities:
Data Engineer: Responsible for onsite monitoring and quality controlling all the data acquisition concerned with drilling and borehole stability monitoring for wildcat wells
(vertical and deviated) in high pressure/high temperature deep well and development wells in offshore and on shore.
Operational Installations, Maintenance and Calibration: Responsible for operational installations, system maintenance, troubleshooting and periodic calibration of all the sensors onsite. Worked in building and testing MWD/LWD down hole tool string in Oman project.
Data Acquisition, Monitoring and Interpretation: Monitor and QC the real-time computer-based data acquisition in drilling, Gas, downhole Gamma ray, resistivity, porosity and density parameters. Real time data interpretation and alerting any anomalous variations in the recordings.

Formation Evaluation: Analyse the geological samples with laboratory techniques such as acid tests, microscopic and fluoroscopic viewing for evaluating geological sign of shows. Interpretation of well logs (Gamma, Resistivity, Density, and Porosity logs)
Gas Analysis and Evaluation: Constantly monitoring the gas logs, variations during drilling and prepare gas ratio plots to obtain formation viability and characterization of hydrocarbons for reservoir evaluation and generation of hydraulics data using proprietary models
Geologic Assistance: Maintain a professional liaison with Client Supervisors at well site to confirm well operations, on-going requirements, operational status and procedures. Maintain effective communication with the client, mud logging crew, drilling and service personnel.
Reporting: Accurately maintained the records with all relevant information recorded in a clear and legible manner in Final well report. Prepare and ensure mud log, pressure log, gas ratio log, drilling log is kept up to date.
