• Have worked with P & O Cruise and Cunard Cruise Ships (UK).

• Familiar with the topography of the vessel and its standard operating procedures. Including my responsibilities in the Safety Organization according to the Emergency Plan and Station Bill

• Developing and provide intelligence to the SSO (Ship Security Officer) as it relates to any unusual activity and assisting the SSO with investigative matters (Sexual Battery, Assault, Larceny, Accident, illegal drug, Narcotic and contraband activity, etc.) as needed.

• Maintain timely entries in vessel's security log and the orderly flow of all security related activities.

• Access Control and visitor management (Printing, Issuing & Recovery of crew cards / visitor passes and keeping track records

• Conducting of passenger hand baggage screening also conduct intense search of all inventories and stores for narcotic and explosive with help of Itemiser3 and vapor tracer from GE Security.

• Maintaining strict supervision on passenger and crew gangway in order to ensure proper ingress and egress of authorized persons while vessel is in port. Also closely monitor all movements from walk through metal detector and X ray screening machines as directed.

• Responsible for giving assistance to guest and crew when necessary, and also maintaining a careful watch for irregular situations that may cause injury or discomfort to the guest and crew, or their possessions.

• Maintaining security/fire/safety patrols as per the Ship Security Plan. Investigate immediately any cause of concern for activated fire alarm and report unsafe conditions.

• Familiar with locations, operations and maintenance of security / fire / safety related equipment’s as required.

• Keeping abreast of all rules, regulations and procedures regarding drills, emergency evacuations, etc. of assigned vessel as per Ship Security and Emergency plans.

• Familiarized with Customs, Immigration and other Federal and Government rules and regulations as they pertain to vessel while in port and enforce all rules and regulations where applicable.
