• Forecasted $4 million savings for Highmark’s Enterprise Risk Management team conducting a Real-World Evidence study of the potential drug savings switching members from branded to generic drugs. Modeled key features in R and Teradata including PDC (Proportion of days covered), Inpatient and Outpatient costs, Bleeding diagnosis events and the drugs switch rate among patients.
• Created a custom Python package for Highmark’s Medicaid Analytics team to decipher a ‘primary-key’ combination on a million rows dataset. The key was optimized for server time and memory constraints. Scheduled
‘daily-run’ of multiple clinical reports using SAS EG (macros and Proc SQL).
