JOB RESPOSIBILITIES IN “KOC GC-30 Project”

·Operating DCS (Honeywell Experion) control console as a “Lead DCS operator” to coordinate and regulate process variables. Processing and production of 100000 BOPD of Crude oil and Export of LP Gas 62.5 MMSCFD.

·PFD review and Heat and Mass balance data (HMT data) verification. Preparing PFD and P&ID documents during maintenance work for blinding and isolation of vessels, equipments and columns etc.

·Dynamic simulation of a system with process control in the software using the controllers (P, PI, PID & Cascade system) & setting suitable tuning parameters (Gain, Reset time, & derivative time) for controllers.

· Loop Checking and Functional Test, DCS and ESD Logics, Pre-commissioning and commissioning control system program, control based on automation.

· Start-up of crude oil and gas separation Desalter, gas compressor, Centrifugal pumps up to 110 Bara and 11kw, IGF (Induced Fuel Gas System), effluent treated water system. Tank farm and utilities like Horizontal water tube Heater including with BMS (Burner Management System), Air compressor, Diesel Generator System, Flare System (HP and LP).

·Assisting and Running Simulator for the plant and packages in Process Training Simulation System (PTSS) by using UNISIM simulation software.

·Graphics preparation and modification and Tags assignment in HMI by using Experion PKS Honeywell. Reviewing system logic diagrams in engineering station.

·Assisting and troubleshooting in F&G network Alarm management and Graphical modification with Honeywell team.

·Handling hazardous hydrocarbons, toxic gases, various chemicals and FGS System as per Standard Operation Procedure.

·Handled DCS CENTUM vp Yokogawa 3000 system

·Start-up shut-down of SBA and MEK units (normal & emergency) and normal operations with lead operator and field operators.

·Performing basic calculations for determining process parameters and material balances.

·Line sizing and hydraulic calculation for open & closed loop systems.

·Pump sizing, NPSH calculation & developing system resistance curve.

·Steady state material balance calculation (Including recycle, bypass & purge) & Energy balance calculation (With & without Chemical reaction).
