Duration 1 Year (Jan 2015 to Dec 2015) - Shared Resource Project Overview The Pearson Learning Studio was using BrowserHawk as a browser detecting tool, with the licensing period nearing its expiration; this was due to the license renewal cost of Browserhawk being very high. Following the research my task was to identify active Educational Providers (EPs), Identify different server clusters that require the tool replacement. Upon identifying inactive EPs I was also involved in the Capacity Planning process aimed at reducing the number of servers, which results in a cost saving in the long term. My responsibilities here included different release management tasks such as version control, obtaining approvals from the change management team, coordinating between several service management and the development team in deploying the release to post release monitoring using different tools such as AppDynamics and sysLogs.
