As an apprentice I completed a lineman safety training course. I learned how to run the digger which I did on a regular basis. I also operated the bucket trucks, skid steers, mini excavators,and back yard machine.
GROUNDMAN- My duties/training
I pulled wire, ran conduit, spliced cable, spliced a lot of cables underground in manholes,fire wrapped cable, pulled in new cable and pulled out old cable, grounded manholes, installed pad mounts,made up elbows for pad mounts, installed elbows for pad mounts, and grounded pad mounts. I was a groundman for make ready crews, removed old poles and replaced them with new poles. I installed down grounds and down guys. OVERHEAD- Duties/Training
I put together materials and prepared crossarms with the correct materials. I know all the tools and proper safe way to use all of them.
SUBSTATION-Duties/Training
Replaced breakers and learned proper safety procedures. Dock Attendant
- O’Connell Electric
As a dock attendant I was responsible for stocking and organizing the stock room. I read work orders and would get the proper materials required to perform the job. I stocked the trucks and delivered materials to job sites.
Spur Line Construction
- Apprentice Electrical Worker
As an Electrical Apprentice I was pulling wire, running conduit, setting poles using a digger, and a backyard machine. I was responsible for operating the bucket truck along with all other machinery necessary to perform these jobs. I learned a lot about following proper procedures and safety.

NEAT Training local 1249- pole climbing,manhole rescue,confined space, signal person, NJATC digger, pole setting, OSHA T&D, lineman safety training, hurt man rescue, NUCA, first aide, CPR, and climbing certified.
