EXPERIENCE

Marion Docks, Inc. Bridgeport, WV July 2019-Present Foreman/Heavy Equipment Operator Duties performed as Site Foreman: Reading civil engineering plans for scope of work, leading safety meetings, constructing roadways including but not limited to; hauling cut to fill, highwall benching, controlled blasting, installing under drains to control spring water, finishing slopes, ditch work, culverts, stone work, berms and seeding and mulching. Constructing sediment ponds including; removal of existing pond (draining and digging out all the mud) installing 400 ft four foot pipe and a spill, shaping to meet civil engineer’s specs, lining with clay, placing stone and grout in the spillways, also performed all previously mentioned tasks on two ponds in a swamp area. Other skills include; clearing and grubbing, creating right of ways for gas lines, and building several other small roads. Anderson Excavating, LLC Morgantown, WV March 2017-June 2019 Foreman/Heavy Equipment Operator

Duties performed as foreman and operator; Reading blueprints for pipe jobs, excavating ditches while maintaining a safe atmosphere for employees including pipe-layers and laborers, setting structures including but not limited to; manholes, inlets and wingwalls to proper elevation, using transits/lasers for grading pipe etc. Locating existing pipes and utilities and safely exposing them, installing different pipes including; sewer lines, corrugated pipe, ductile iron, HDPE pipe, RCP pipe and gas line, installing substations for sewer projects. Constructing DOT approved roads to subgrade while meeting proper compaction specifications. Constructed 1600 foot box culvert, consisting of 7x7x10 11 ton structures. Dirt work including but not limited to; constructing roadways, proper ENS, running fill, slope work, ditch work, constructed building pads and footers etc. Performed subcontracting work for gas and oil companies including, ponds, ditches, spill prevention, roads, slope work and filtration systems. Performed demolition work including; residential houses, garages etc. commercial buildings up to five story buildings, separating material, loading it out to be hauled away. Landscaping including; finish grading yard work, planting trees, diversion ditches and grading and finishing driveways. Mine work including; dipping ponds and hauling to refuse site, roadway and building pads.

Heavy Equipment Operator Morgantown, WV August 2011-March 2017 Operating heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, skid steerers, rock trucks, back hoes, trenchers, pipe fusers and road graders. Performed tasks including but not limited to; running fill, finishing slopes, building roads, digging ditches, installing pipe, dipping ponds, finish grading and repairing roads. Demolition work included housing and steel structures.
