JOB DESCRIPTIONS

SAP general policing. Charge office, complaints with vehicles etc. Was transferred to Sandton Crime prevention, handled warrants. 1979 to 1984. Voluntary resignation.

As Fireman I did everything expected from a fireman.Fought burning buildings, burning house and veld/grass fires.Rescued victims from cars and fires.Drove the fire-engines.Complete the Junior Fireman Certificate and became Senior Fireman.Completed the Basic Ambulance Course as well as First Aid Courses. 1985 to 1990. Voluntary resignation.

At Spoornet I qualified as a Freight Coordinator.Shipping and receiving of general goods, PX, CX and truckloads, as well as explosives.Did logistics, dispatching, invoicing, orders, stocktaking and quotes. I was then transferred to Head Office where I qualified as a Senior Clerk and did general office duties such as client accounts, contracts, filing etc. Managed fleet of forklifts and trucks, maintenance of vehicles and route management. 12 Years in total experience at Spoornet. 02/12/1990 to 15/7/2002. Voluntary resignation.
