Responsibility: Despatch stock yard management :

planning for proper way size wise and class wise pipe stacking.

Maintain record & generate stock breakup report for each and every pipe status.

planning for maximum utilization for yard space.

Despatch planning, control and supervision :

Receive the tentative monthly dispatch plan from sales.

Breakup of the dispatch plan into day wise, after joint exercise with production.

Arrange optimized man and machine to execute maximum possible parallel loading lines.

Offer customers/third party for inspection by co-ordination of QA.

Monitor the progress of activities.

Analyze the failures against the plan and take countermeasure.

Inbound logistics:

Equipment requirement planning, allocation and maintenance (Organization owned and hired).

Material handling from production line to stock yard. Safe and optimized material handling.

Store management

Scope – loading/unloading accessories and gaskets): Requirement assessment, chasing for procurement, inventory control for the child parts to be dispatch along with DI pipes and the components used for DI pipe loading and packing.

Incoming Quality Control Above store items.

Supplier / Contractor sourcing and development, cost control for the above store items.

Development and improvement of handling methods.

Lead cost saving projects in relevant area.

Ensure proper implementation and execution of Quality Management system in the dispatch department.

Maintenance of loading/ unloading tools.

Productivity improvement.

Implement and maintain safety norms as directed by corporate safety department.

Maintain safe and optimized material movement in dispatch area.

Man management:

Developed and established dispatch operation in newly built plant in Bokaro and achieved 18000+ m/t dispatch within one month from 8000mt

Cost saving in minimum equipments max loading in a month . For this achievement got appraised by company with ACES award.

Saving approx 20lacs per year.

Selected as LOTO champion in DI Plant & Grid owner for safety as relevant area.

Production Planning, Shop Floor Management, Materials Procurement, Manpower Planning and Engagement, Conducting & Reviewing EHS, QMS Audits. Rejection &Rework Reduction, DI Pipe Process Knowledge-Zinc Coating, Cement Lining, Hydro testing & Bitumen Coating, Leadership, Advance Techniques.

Worked to the production of pipe in Five finishing lines.

Planning and monitor production activities and ensures man and job safety, motivating, coordinating and controlling sub ordinates.

Different types of losses and investigate the reason of losses and advice new measure to reduce the losses as much as possible.
