Participated in a Cloud and Hosting Technology department to architect and implement a nation-wide Desktop as a Service (Horizon DaaS) solution for the United States Courts. Tested the solution from a design stage to a transitional pre-production infrastructure, to a final production deployment which includes support. Implemented a variety of VMware products, including VMware Horizon View, vSphere vCenter, NSX, as well as VMware integration with multiple trusted Active Directory domains, user profile management through Group Policy Object (GPO) and VMware Persona Management and Distributed File System (DFS). Responsible for implementing and configuring core VMware Horizon View components such as View Connection Servers, View Composer, Remote Desktop Services Hosts (RDSH) for hosted applications, and Persona Management. Developed documentation to provide as step-by-step on-boarding processes to each court in order to utilize the final solution as a cloud service.

Worked to guide organization through common VDI challenges. Designed and tested solutions based off customer vision, and used data from assessments to determine final production strategy

Participated in successfully onboarding multiple District Courts and branch offices consisting of 10,000+ VDI users to utilize a VMware Horizon DaaS within a multi-tenant production environment

Worked to standardize templates for Group Policy Objects (GPO’s) in order to maintain user profile data. Specific application GPO’s needed to be developed for optimization and best performance of those applications in a virtual desktop environment

Created critical reference documentation to provide end customers with a simplified design and full configuration overview detailing specific VMware technology, and delivered a quick and easy-to-read “Administrator Guide”
