Duties or Responsibilities
Responsible for the preparation and processing of the monthly payroll for approximately 1000 Employees for 20 Clients(This includes the entire cycle of payroll processing from capturing of new employees, leave, terminations, reporting) etc.
Reconciliation of payroll wages/salaries
Maintaining employees, registers, leave forms, sick notes etc.
Enter daily time sheets into computerized system
Submission of statutory WCA Yearly
Submission of Annual and Interim EMP 501’s to Sars and generating IRP5/IT3’s
Monthly declarations of UIF
Monthly declarations of EMP 201’s i.e PAYE,SDL & UIF
Assiting in application of UIF benefits for Employees-Via Filling and Manually
Provide information and respond to all employee queries regarding payroll, benefits and deductions.
Prepare forms for remittances required by government agencies Unions and provident funds
File reports and statements regarding payment of wages and benefits.
File employees documentation systematically
Assist with clerical support of phones as required.
Print and distribute payslips
Managing the termination of employees and contracts
Preparing third parties payments i.e. emp201,garnishees, provident fund and unions
Preparing quarterly employment statistics
Assisting with communication and processing of workers compensation fund claims.
Assist with any adhoc duties on payroll
