RESPONSIBILITIES : Taking all precautions with regards to safety as per sop, taking charge of handyman allocated for me. Repair of different Naval ships/vessels. Inspect my own work prior to the formally qualified inspector. Housekeeping after each and every work completed. Use of TIG processes, SMAW and as well as GMAW.

Weld mild, stainless steel, cast iron and aluminium work-pieces using the Shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), Gas metal arc welding (GMAW), Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), Oxy-acetylene silver brazing welding (OASBW), Oxy-acetylene braze welding (OABW) and Oxy-acetylene welding

(OAW) process in all positions. Basic fitting. Heat treatment of steel (theory). Arc-air gauging of materials. Fire fight and First aid. Basic welding inspection using Dye-penetrant, Nick break test, face and root bend testing of specimens

Accomplishments: Get the job done in due time and always give quality over quantity and do it once right.
