Prediction of profit returns per product per outlet 08-2020 – 08-2020

This project is focused on Retail Data Analytics. I was tasked with the responsibility of building a predictive model to find out the profit returns on each product at a particular store. At the end of the project, the management was able to identify the type of product, market clusters, and store type that will give more profit returns as he plans to expand to more cities in the country. My predictions helped the management to better understand the key characteristics of items and stores, which drive returns and have better insight on how to proceed with the plan of expansion. Python programming language was used.

The goal of this project is to build a predictive model to determine if a building will have an insurance claim during a certain period or not. This will be achieved by predicting the probability of having at least one claim over the insured period of the building. This is a supervised machine learning problem, classification problem specifically. The logistic regression model was used in R Studio.

The goal of the project is to help the organization to know the customer to target in marketing.

I recommended the one customer out of a thousand

customers on the test data set (customer list) that should be targeted to drive the most value for the organization. Data quality assurance was carried out on the data received, then data transformation and feature engineering before the regression model was used in making the prediction. All these were done using the R Studio.
