HSE Supervisor, Bay Ltd., 06.2020- 08.2020
Safety Supervisor over approximately 100 employees. My role was to maintain safety compliance for all employees, company, and client. I held morning safety meetings with safety team & employees to promote a proactive vs reactive culture. Observed and oversaw all craft tasks such as crane, excavation, and all elevated work situations. Tracked employee behavioral based observations to monitor job site trends. Assured all incidents and accidents were investigated properly and dealt with accordingly. Attended to employees in need of first aid and assured that their wellbeing was taken seriously. Administered Covid-19 screenings to employees.
HSE Supervisor, Wison Petrochemicals, 10.2019- 06.2020 I was a 3rd party HSE Supervisor (nights)/Coordinator (days) for a General Contractor overseeing 5 sub-contractors. I held weekly HSE meetings with all sub-contractors HSE management to discuss job site trends and share ideas on how to improve the overall jobsite safety. I would conduct audits and field observations with all sub-contractor safety teams, as well as audit their performance. I would conduct daily walkthroughs, coaching, and reporting for up to 500 employees.
Crane & Rigging Safety Supervisor, Vivot Equipment, 05.2019- 10.2019 Observed all critical lifts, relocation, and assembly/disassembly of cranes & equipment, as well as conduct routine inspections with crane operators and riggers. Coordinated critical lift planning with project management and all key personnel to be involved in the task. Verified credentials for all operators/riggers and assured that all necessary PPE was issued after new hire orientation was conducted. Notified and coordinated with client of any hazmat leaks/spills and initiated the cleanup process. Observed and coached all employees daily. Maintained an employee’s data matrix to track all corrective action. Assured employees’ knowledge of how to thoroughly inspect rigging and to remove all questionable rigging from service.
Safety Technician, Peterson Beckner Ind., 12.2018- 04.2019 Conducted toolbox meetings, field audits, reporting, and tracking while ensuring employee compliance with OSHA, company, and client standards. Assured all iron workers and riggers worked to or above company and client safety expectations. Daily observations were sent to Corporate Safety Manager for a weekly tracking.
