Project details

Project Name: “Evaluation of mechanical properties on a piston material by varying the percentage of SI in AL-SI alloy”

The main objective of our project was to find the correct combination of silicon used in AL-SI alloy piston material.

By doing research through journals, papers we found the various mechanical stress that the piston undergoes and performed respective experiments.

Final result of our project was found that by varying the SI percentage in AL-SI alloy, we can increase the mechanical properties of the piston material.

Project Name: “Design and Manufacture of on road electric vehicle”

The motive of our project was to build a vehicle which can be used in all seasons at minimum cost and maximum safety.

We are on the way of finding correct design by referring journals, practical surveying and finally modelling and analysing the design through the software.

In the upcoming months, after finalizing the design we are going to manufacture the physical working model and test them on road condition.

Attended a seminar on “1st World Entrepreneurship Summit” on 2nd February 2019 at New horizon college of engineering in Bangalore.

Participated in a workshop on “Rapid Hands on Trimmed Engineering Design and Manufacturing” on 30th and 31st October at New Horizon College of engineering in Bangalore.
